Rejoice Evermore. Pray without Ceasing.
In every thing give thanks.

In the Bible it tells us to "pray without ceasing" ( 1 Thess 5:17), or to pray continually, but how can this be possible when we all lead so busy lives? The clue lies in what surrounds these 3 words. To make the effort to be continually thankful for what God has given us means having an attitude of joy and thankfulness for life. The way we express that thanks is through prayer!

When we are friends with somebody, or we love somebody, we spend time with them, talk to them, and enjoying being with them. It is the same for our relationship with God. Prayer is a way of talking to God, and because he's so amazing he know's what we have to say to him, even if we can't find the words to say it out loud.

You can pray whenever or wherever you like, by yourself or with others, to ask for help or to thank God for all the good things in life. In this space, week by week, there will be thoughts, reflections and prayers for you to look at and use when spending some time with God.
